Well we got the internet back last night and because I was feely a bit deprived, a may or may not have overindulged in mindless and aimless internet wandering. Here are a few of my favorite things:
Wellington Campos + Woody's Adventures // This is probably one of the first Instagram accounts I have come across where I couldn't stop smiling through the entire album. So. Freaking. Cute. Toy Story has always been one of my favorite Pixar films and of course since Woody is voiced by Tom Hanks, he is instantly my favorite character.
10 Things Never To Say To A Woman Who Doesn't Want Kids // I have always made it clear to my friends that kids were never a big thing for me. I've always looked at myself as the cool aunt. Kids just aren't my thing. Fortunately, my friends are wonderful and understand my views and respect them. As for strangers, it's not always the same. I found this article to be extremely relatable and satisfying knowing others agree with me!
"But you will be so much happier once you have kids" - Actually, there are no studies that definitely prove that people with kids are happier. Or that people without kids are happier. That said, I'd pretty damn happy right now, and if I had a kid, I'd definitely be less happy. You know, because I don't want kids. Happiness is many different things to many different people, and right now, for me, it's this tumbler of Bourbon, this stack of old Sassy magazines, and this old hairy dog snoring on my feet.
Kevin Bacon Reenacts 'Footloose' Dance on Tonight Show // Footloose is one of my all time favorite movies and Jimmy Fallon is one of my all time favorite people. When you put them together? I become a very happy person. And this just made my whole week. Like, for reals.
Neil Patrick Harris + Jason Segel sing 'Confrontation' from Les Mis // I saw the original video from 2006 where the two of them performed this song on 'The Megan Mullaly Show', and it was simply enjoyable. Fast forward eight years, and probably plenty of practice later, their performance is just epic. These boys are so charming and talented and just oh so adorable.
Garance Dore for Rifle Paper Co. // I got the iPhone 5 on Wednesday and the first thing I did was start researching new cases. I hit all the typical stores: Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and J.Crew and while I found some absurdly cute ones, I thought I would continue looking. I have always loved the cases from Rifle Paper Co. so I wandered over to see if they had anything new. Once I got to the site, I came across the Garance Dore collection which I had forgot was coming this spring! While I went to the site to look at phone cases, I ended up getting a bit distracted by well, just about everything else! It's all so adorable! I think I've found my stationary for Europe this summer!
