Emmy Favorites

Well... the Emmys didn't go quite like I was thinking they would! It was definitely a lot more boring than past years and a heck of a lot of upsets! (which wasn't a terrible thing). Though it wasn't the best broadcast they've had in years, there were still plenty of things to love!

the fashion!
Anna Gunn in Romona Keveza

Mindy Kaling in Georges Chakra

Tina Fey in Narsisco Rodriguez

Kiernan Shipka in Delpozo

Really awesome acceptance speeches!
Merritt Wever just owned every acceptance speech ever made.

Julia-Louis Dreyfus just proved why she always wins.
(very clever) PS. CONGRATS TO TONY HALE!

Scene stealers Tina Fey and Amy Poehler!
The only two people who can save a dying bit.
(added bonus: Claire Danes dying of laughter directly behind them.)

Bob Newhart & his standing ovation!
Such a joyous & deserving moment for a legend.

That dance number!
I've only watched a few season of Dancing with the Stars (mostly with my mother) & I have always enjoyed Derek Hough's routines. So talented, along with the rest of the choreographers. This performance definitely saved the show, in my opinion.

This random dude.

Favorite Wins:
Anna Gunn - Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
Jim Parsons - Lead Actor in a Comedy Series
Tony Hale - Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

Biggest Upsets:
Bobby Canavale - Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
(should have gone to Aaron Paul or Jonathan Banks.)
Jeff Daniels - Lead Actor in a Drama Series
(while I do LOVE The Newsroom, Cranston should've won.)

If you can't tell, I'm #TeamBreakingBad.
